Precious Puppy Spa & Day Care

Unfortunately, my experience was very poor. The day after picking up my dog, he developed an ear infection and also had skin irritation, which he did not have before the grooming. This makes me seriously question the hygiene, handling, and products used. I had to take him to the veterinarian and cover additional expenses. I would not return or recommend this groomer.

My mom & I took our shih-poo to Precious Puppy last week. They did a great job on the grooming & we would go back except for an incident that didn’t make us feel secure. There is a gate from the back to the lobby area. When they first took him back there he squeezed through the gate, so they knew that was an issue. When we came back to get him after his grooming, they said he had squeezed through the gate again & pooped on the lobby floor. If they knew he could get through there, they should have secured him in a kennel. If someone had opened the front door he could’ve run out onto a busy street. We would consider going back again if the area is more secured. If you have a bigger dog that isn’t an escape artist, it’s a good place to go.

I told the owner, Rita that my dog had allergies to shampoo and that he would need a just water bath. Rita said she had an all natural shampoo and that she used it on other clients with allergies and never had a problem, "it's all natural"! And that I had nothing to worry about. Rita also wrote on my dog's information card that he had allergies so that her employees were aware. Rita assured me that they would use the all natural shampoo made for dogs with allergies. THEY DID NOT! I had to rush my doggy to the vet for emergency treatment for an allergic reaction! He had to have multiple shots and be put on medication. Just Be Aware!

Rita is the only person who has ever groomed my sweet little Oreo. Oreo is 11 years old now and I’m so grateful for Ms Rita!!! And of course my little Oreo is too!

My maltese puppy was chopped so bad by a local, highly rated, groomer so I was reluctant to take him anywhere else. I decided to try Precious Puppy and am so glad I did. The owner was amazing. My puppy played with her little dog, wasnt shaking when I picked him up, and looked amazing. She fixed his horrible cut! I do believe we have found our new groomer.
