Prairie Lakes Pet Hospital took such amazing care of my girl! From the moment we walked in, I felt she was in good hands. The staff was kind, compassionate, and very thorough about explaining what was going on every step of the way. They kept me informed, reassured me, and treated her with so much love and attention. I’m so grateful for the care she received here — I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help her through this. Highly recommend! 🐾💖

After bringing home a new puppy we were looking to change to a vet that was locally owned and operated, valued their patients (and their humans) and evidence based. We were very impressed with Prairie Lakes! Katie took us back and walked us through each step of the process making us an active part of the visit. She gathered all of our questions while meeting our dog (who absolutely loved her) and relayed all of the information to Dr Franck so she was in the loop right as she walked in the room. They both addressed any concerns we had, made it super enjoyable for our pup and spent quality time during the visit to make sure we were taken care of. They made sure we knew we could text or call with any questions or concerns following the visit and were quick to respond when something came up.

Had an emergency with my dog, and my regular vet was out. We were able to get an appointment 2 hours after I called Prairie Lakes. The care we received was amazing, plus we received follow up texts asking about my dog's condition. Cari and Dr. Franck are wonderful!

They were quick to respond to my online request for a new patient appointment. I really liked Dr. Franck and her staff, everyone is friendly, caring and compassionate. Nice, clean office and the prices were reasonable. I have found my new vet in Ankeny. Thank you to their entire team for a great experience for me and LuLu.

Hands down the best vet clinic I’ve ever been to. It’s is so beautiful and clean, with a welcoming atmosphere. They are truly so compassionate and gentle with your pet. I was beyond impressed with the thoroughness of the examination & extra cautionary testing for my cat. The only clinic in Iowa I’ll fully trust!
