Ankeny Bark Avenue

Hazel loves day care here and they did a great job grooming her too. They offer many different services and it's easy to pick and choose what you want.

My 4 year old Shih Tzu Buddy loves to go play with his puppy friends once or twice a week - He definitely gets some exercise which he needs as we live in an apartment He sometimes gets impatient when he’s not waited on when we walk in the door and let us all know by barking that he wants to go to the back room to play I trust that he is well taking care of their during his 1/2 day playtime Their specials they offer occasionally throughout the year helps reduce package fees Thanks Bark Avenue staff!

My dog Winston has been going to daycare/boarding at Bark Avenue for about 3 years now. I trust the staff here with Winston completely. They treat him like family and know his name the second we walk in for drop off. He is always so excited to go and it’s a great outlet for his energy. We love the parties and special meals they offer. We also use their grooming service. He smells amazing after his baths and you can tell how refreshed he feels. Bark Avenue is truly Winston’s second home and we can’t thank all of the staff members enough for all they do for us. I strongly recommend sending your pups here.

My pup Oliver loves this place! As soon as he can see the front door he starts squealing and getting excited. They treat him as their own, couldn’t ask for more! Plus we love all of the pictures they get for us

Mia came home lethargic and 2 days later had kennel cough symptoms. After complications, I took her to Urgent care who confirmed upper respiratory infection and an x-ray showed a collapsed trachea that could have been there prior to her boarding. Kennel cough is not uncommon in boarding and for the most part we've had good experience.
