Polite Pooches Positive Dog Training

Wonderful and knowledgeable staff who help owners train their dogs from all levels from first time owners to those who've had dogs all their lives. Each class is tailored to certain tricks that grow with the class and at the end they go over a theme. Such as toys, grooming, etc. And have examples of each for people to try with their pet during the class. There are multiple trainers so each dog can be observed to ensure everything is going well.

Kathy and her team truly provide an exceptional dog training service. They take time to get to know your dog and their needs. And their training methods are tailored to the dog’s level. It has been fun for our dog and us. But most importantly we have seen her grow from a scared rescue to a more confident dog. I highly recommend their services. 🐕

We recently adopted a sweet and well-trained Smooth Collie puppy but she was afraid of stairs. I need a quick solution and started a search for a dog trainer. I believe in positive reinforcement training only and was shocked at how many local trainers used e-collars and were a hard sell to use their services. I am so thankful to find Polite Pooches and work with Kathy! After one private session, our girl was confidently going up and down our stairs that evening! Not only that we learned so much about socialization, building confidence, touch training, engaging toys and play, and recall. Kathy is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Gwen took to her immediately and felt secure in her training center and to listen to her. I am over the moon and will be using her other training service

Kathy was great! She made both Lucy and I very comfortable. I learned alot and Lucy had fun and was exhausted afterward :^) I love the followup notes and information. I will be using it ALOT!

I took Trixie, my 2yo, Yorkie rescue to see Kathy as she's having a lot of anxiety due to her traumatic past. Kathy was so nice, calming and very knowledgeable.
