Wow! What a wonderful experience! I brought in my little chi-terrier mix, Puddles. She’s a 13 y/o, spry, and sweet cutie. She got her last dental about 4 years ago and all the places were quoting me $2000 and upwards. I had lost hope thinking that was the price I had to pay. After doing some research, I found Placerville Animal Surgery through Reddit and found out they did dentals for way less! My dog’s teeth were pretty bad and she had 2 small masses and 4 extractions. The anesthesia, extractions, and pain meds were included with the dental. All this cost $575. Without the mass and exam fee, it would’ve been $460. Seriously go here! They are so nice! They do get booked out and the appointments will take up the whole day, so make sure to plan accordingly and be prepared to get on a waitlis

This is truly the best place. From the moment we walked in, they treated my dog Bruno like family. Seeing his name on the welcome board, along with all the other pets they were caring for that day, written in bright, colorful lettering immediately set the tone. Every single person greeted us with real smiles and so much love. You could feel the genuine care they have for every pet, not just the ones they already know. The staff took the time to carefully explain everything they would be doing, and the veterinarian even showed me a picture and walked me through exactly what would be done during Bruno’s eye surgery. Our experience with Placerville Animal Surgery Center was pleasant and professional. Two senior dogs needing dental cleanings and extractions yesterday. Today they're doing great! I'm very grateful! I worried so much because their ages are 12 and 13. We always appreciate kind care of our pet companions, they're family!

I can’t say enough good things about Placerville Animal Surgery Center and Dr. Raymond. I had received heartbreaking news from another vet that my dog needed an emergency splenectomy due to internal bleeding, but they weren’t able to perform the surgery. I called around to multiple vets and was quoted anywhere from $6,000–$10,000, which just wasn’t realistic for me. Then I found Placerville Animal Surgery Center. I was able to reach them on a Saturday, and Dr. Raymond told me to bring my dog in right away. He estimated the cost would be around $2,500 — a fraction of what I’d been quoted elsewhere — and they got him into surgery immediately. I'm so thankful for the staff at Placerville Animal surgery center. I was struggling to find affordable dental care for my Fur baby Romeo, that needed full dental extractions. He was in pain and losing weight rapidly due to the pain. When I called they jumped right on the fact that his teeth were taking a toll on him and got me in right away for his dental surgery! Everyone from the initial phone call, to check in and checkout, the vet and all the vet techs have been amazing ! Not only did he get the care he needed by people who love what they do, I didn't have to put myself in debt to get the care that he desperately needed.
