Tara who owns the facility is extremely rude and talks down to you. I can’t believe that she has a business with that attitude. I used them for 1 night and also had my dog groomed while he was there. The husband who happens to be nice , unlike his wife , did the grooming and while he did some grooming things, he has matting under his belly . I’ve had my dog groomed many times and he never came back to me with matting. Lesson learned. Do yourself a favor and find another facility. If I could give 0 stars I would have!!!

We have been boarding our dog at Pioneer Pet Care for a few years, after never thinking we’d find a place that could/would take our reactive and aggressive dog who’s not people or animal friendly with anyone outside of her tight circle. Our dog’s behavioral care doctor recommended this kennel. Tara and Jack dedicate themselves completely to providing a safe and sound boarding experience. We followed their instructions exactly and couldn’t believe it when, on the very first visit, our dog did not react to Jack, and she went right back to the kennel. Nina always comes home seeming happy, relaxed, and well cared for.

I absolutely love Pioneer Pet Care. My family has been boarding our dogs here for 15+ years! When my husband and I dropped our pup Harley off for the first time, Jack took in to consideration all of our concerns and listened to everything I told him about Harley since it was his first time. When we picked Harley up, Tara told us how good he did! They reassured us that we had nothing to worry about and that he did great! You could tell Harley really loves Tara and Jack and they took great care of him! All of our dogs have loved going there! You can tell they are very well cared for!

We recently boarded our special needs yorkie at Pioneer. Tara and Jack took wonderful care of her and we couldn't be happier. We never boarded her before, but it was a great experience for all of us. I highly recommend them.

Pioneer Pet Care will go above and beyond for you and your dog. My dog Thor has had a hard time with other groomers, but he loves pioneer. They treat him like one of the family and he always leaves clean, clipped and in high spirits. Not only are they great at what they do, they go out of their way to accommodate me with scheduling. And to top it all off, when Thor underwent surgery this past year, they called to check on him. Unlike others in the pet business, they actually care about the wellbeing of your animal. I cannot recommend them enough!
