Amwell Pet Supply

This place is awesome. I hate going to big box stores that sell pets supplies because they typically treat the animals like shit and bully the industry from small business owners. Amwell Pet Supply is an amazing shop. Decently priced for a mom and pop shop. Very kind staff and its totally my kind of shop. Honest, direct, and good people own this shop and work here. You can feel it as soon as you walk in the shop. If you live anywhere near this shop, please stop in and check them out. Just picked up some live crickets from here and was amazed that I havent seen this shop before. Will definitely be coming here for all my bearded dragon and dog needs!

Amwell Pet is a great store.They only do adoptions and rescue many animals i have adopted my cat and guinea pigs from there. The store has kind, knowledgeable staff and the owner is very smart about animals. They offer very good prices on everything and have just about anything you would need for your pet. They support the community as well. We always shop here for our pet needs. We do not know how anyone could write anything other than 5 stars about this store that has saved 1000's of animals since they opened.

I am so grateful for Hope, she said “yes” when everyone else said “no”. She and her team took amazing care of my guinea pigs while I was getting myself situated. You know your pets are taken care of and loved when they get kissed goodbye when picked up. May Hope’s kindness and generosity return in hundredfold. Truly a great place with great people, they deserve all the business in the world.

I adopted two (2) guinea pigs from Amwell Pet Supply and our family couldn't be happier with them. We adopted them in the beginning of July and they have been a great addition to our family. We’ve been to this shop a few times and usually had very good experiences. Also we usually love trying to support local business instead of big chain companies… However today’s experience totally sucked to be honest. We came in to buy a goldfish. We’ve bought three goldfish from here before. To start, the employee didn’t greet us, seemed annoyed when asked about the fish, and admitted she didn’t know much about them then also said she won’t catch the smaller fish because it’s too hard… We picked a goldfish similar (same size and colors) to the one we bought in July for $10.99, but the tank pricing didn’t have an extract price matching description for the goldfish we picked.
