Pieper-Olson Veterinary Hospital

I’m grateful that Pieper had the MRI equipment that my dog needed. However they kept referring to my dog as a female to the point that this incorrect gender was sent in the notification to my vet when he was hospitalized. He was there a couple of days. No one picked up on this mistake? It doesn’t make me feel confident in the diagnosis they gave us. I also now question the level of care he got. We spent thousands of dollars on his care and they can’t get his gender right!

I recently had to take my dog in to be seen and overall the care he and I received was good. I felt most of the staff we dealt with was friendly and compassionate. While there was quite a wait to be seen, that is to be expected when going to an urgent veterinary hospital. The doctor we saw took the time to talk to me after he was evaluated. I didn't feel rushed and was able to ask questions and feel confident in his diagnosis and treatment plan. They didn't perform unnecessary testing just to raise the price of the bill, which is what has happened to us at other facilities. I took my new puppy to Pieper-Olsen Hospital for his first visit 12/5/25. What a great experience! Buddy came out of there with no fear and I was so very impressed with the whole staff! I had been there before for emergencies but never for health and vaccine’s. The whole staff was fantastic and buddy came out with no fear!! I came out impressed with the whole visit! The best!! My dog needed surgery to pin a broken leg. The entire staff has been amazing. I'm very happy with my pet care so far. Update... Carl is doing awesome. He had his cast off two weeks ago now and is healing beautifully. I can't say enough good things about this experience. Thank you so much, everyone, at Pieper.

I felt heard and saw the care in the team for my minidachshund. I know he is in good hands. Every person from reception to Vet were so caring and attentive.
