I took my new puppy for grooming at Pickens Paws and I couldn’t be happier with Dixie and her shoppe. My little guy had never been groomed before and they were patient and gentle with him. He looks so cute with a proper grooming and he was groomed to the breed standard. Great job Dixie! But he really didn’t look or the bow in his hair which lasted maybe 30 seconds.

Just saw this and some of the bad reviews….which I totally do NOT understand. So I wanted to leave one myself. I brought my father-in-law’s long haired chihuahua here to be groomed for several years, until my dad passed this past September. Dixie and her employee are both so kind and gentle. I’ve went to several other groomers in Jasper and Ellijay, and would highly recommend Pickens Paws Pet Salon. They always did a great job, in a clean environment, and took the best care of our fur baby. I never had any trouble with appointments and never worried when leaving him in their care.

I'll no longer take my dog anywhere else. This is the first groomer I ever tried and they will be the last as long as I live here. I tried another when I couldn't get into see Dixie, and was very disappointed. Make your appointment at least six weeks in advance as they stay booked.

Dixie is the best ! She loves our babies and has groomed them for many years.

Dixie did an excellent job on Bentley's first groom here. Salon was clean and smelled nice (unlike his previous groomer). Will definitely be back again.
