Philadelphia Animal Hospital

I’ve been going there around 15 years with a lot of dogs and several cats. I also have friends and family going there with their fur babies. I love Dr Darria. She’s absolutely one of the kindest most caring vets that I’ve ever dealt with. Had some issues with the front staff lately but as long as Dr. Darriais there, I will continue to go to Philadelphia Animal Hosp.. Her dad Larry Rebecca is also amazing wonderful veterinarians and wonderful people. honestly, I love Dr Darria like she was my own family and it’s because of her kindness to my family and my fur babies.

After over 30 years with a veterinary practice in Delaware County, I felt disappointed when some of the staff interactions became rude and dismissive, despite having brought more than 15 animals there over the years. I later connected with Philadelphia Animal Hospital through the associated doggy daycare and met Dr. Rebecci and his daughter, who were both incredibly caring and understanding. The office staff is generally friendly and welcoming. My only drawback is long phone hold times and a check-in process that could be more efficient. Overall, a very positive experience with compassionate care

Dr. Hugh is the absolute best! I came in as an emergency on a Wednesday night, my cat was sick not eating/vomiting. I was so impressed with everyone from the front desk to the vet techs who were all fabulous with fii. ( I thought for sure she was going to be sassy about everything but she was good with them) Dr. Hughes gave fii some meds and sent her home to be monitored, after about 24hrs still no eating I had to bring her back on Friday morning. I was technically a walk in and they took fii back right away, all her test came back fine they couldn't find anything wrong other than her being "stressed" I guess with a new baby at home we are all a little stressed lol. Dr. Hughes was kind enough to give her some meds and keep her overnight where he hydrated her and tried to get some food in

Took my dog there for constant itching and belly rash. Dr Larry Rebbecchi diagnosed it immediately and ordered a shot of steroids and an antibiotic regimen. He had us in stitches with his horse racing stories. I never laughed so much at a doctor's office. I felt like I knew him for years. Very personable and reassuring. So far Bella is responding well to treatment.

Had an amazing experience yesterday! The staff were super friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, polite, and helpful! Prices are super affordable, and the procedures were completed in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place for all our furry friends!
