We boarded our shihtzu Jetson for the second time. Our recent boarding experience seems to for the most part have gone well. My only concern is that he was supposed to get an exit bath when we picked him up. When he came out he had quite a bit of poop on his bottom and he didn’t even smell nice or look like he was bathed. They were kind enough to quickly take him back and wash his poop off but not dry him off. When we got him home his ears were matted on the edges, just as they had been when I dropped him off as I had planned on having an exit grooming. So this made me question if he was bathed. I asked if he was given a bath and was told he was, I’m not so sure. Overall I think the stay went well aside from the bathing that I don’t think he received. I’m another note… I’d like to leave a
I was really excited about this place, it had amazing reviews. I took my 4 month old puppy there for their puppy preschool program. Within the first 2 hours, I saw on the video cam that my puppy was alone in a big room with 1 person. She was on her phone pretty much the entire time. She completely ignored my puppy. She would sit down on the floor looking at her phone, my puppy would try and sit on her lap, she would push him away or stand up and walk away. She never engaged with playing with him or anything. I understand being on a phone for a little bit, but to completely ignore the puppy is not acceptable. Why even work there if you won't interact with them? I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, but the fact it happened on the first day, within the first few hours... we will not be
Mary is the best!! She did so good on my dogs!! My dogs also love it here! They stayed over Christmas and had the best time!
I bring my pup here every once in a while when she gets a little too crazy at home and me and her both absolutely love it! She is still young and very high energy so she loves being in group with other young high energy dogs! Watching the camera I can see that there are all sorts of dogs with many different play styles (some crazier than others like mine) and the employees are great at keeping the higher energy dogs from stressing out the not so high energy dogs. We also did the puppy preschool when she was younger and i think it was great at teaching her dog to dog interactions as she is the only dog in a house of cats. She is a smaller dog and I was a little worried about her playing with some of the bigger dogs but the staff really keeps an eye on things to keep them all safe! Most of t
I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like I have to say something after what I personally saw here. What I saw made me genuinely concerned for the safety of the dogs. Ive seen multiple days where there were around 100 dogs in the building with only two or three staff members in the back responsible for supervising them. I saw how difficult it was for that small number of people to monitor that many dogs at once it’s just not realistic. From what I saw, the environment felt chaotic and overstimulating. I saw large groups of dogs kept together for long periods of time more like most of the day — without meaningful breaks to decompress. I saw dogs becoming visibly stressed and overwhelmed in overcrowded rooms. I saw situations where dozens of dogs were packed into the same space, and it
