Went to get a friend for my molly, while I was there I talked to the pet care manager. He went above and beyond answering my questions and offering advice. Im glad I chose PetSmart.

Though PetSmart is not the one that is selling the animals at $250/pair for kittens (mandatory two) from a rescue, etc. they aren't making sure that the people who are being paid for the animals are following the laws protecting consumers from buying sick, unvaccinated, not de-wormed or flea treated from the inside of their store in Waynesboro, VA. It's been 3 weeks since we brought our new kittens home and it's been a nightmare of cleaning up the diarrhea, multiple trips to pick up medicine for them, trip to receive their distemper shot, still one more to go. Dewormer medicine trip to get that too. Not to mention having to administer the medication. Do your research before you invest your hard earned money into being pet parents from PETSMART. We went to get one goldfish this evening, and upon requesting for assistance to get this fish, the employee, female with long black hair was very rude to me and my husband. She demanded to know the size of my fish tank. This, isn’t her business , and honestly, if someone is wanting to purchase any kind of fish they are prepared with an appropriate bowl or aquarium for their fish waiting at home. I’ve had a bowl that I’ve used since I was a child and raised many many goldfish who have lived long, happy, healthy lives. ( up to 8 years) she demanded that I have at least a 22 gallon tank for this gold fish and absolutely refused to sell me the fish. Dec 12 2024. I had an appointment for my cat to be groomed. He’s a good boy for all the groomers he’s been to. I asked for a lion cut and a waterless bath. And she said she would be done in 30mins. I thought to myself self either she was very good at her job or it’s gonna be bad. I got him back home with out looking at him (in a crate). He comes out of his crate at home and his hair cut is so botched. I honestly could have done a better job myself at home. He looks like a hot mess. So very disappointed in the groomer. Would not recommend for cats! *noted: when I called to ask if they do cats and how many years experience they had with them he said 4-6 years. This isn’t a 4-6years experience job.

I have a chocolate lab and Reagan is the best with her! She’s so sweet, answers all my questions, and my dog seems to love her! Never had an issue. She has given her baths, clipped her nails, brushed her teeth and a few other things.
