The person that posted about the green cheeked conure shouldn’t post and assume about the bird being neglected. All the employees care very much about the animals. They are very passionate about all animals even about the fish. He sits up in the corner to sleep from time to time. He was new at that point.

It's very clear that the folks working at this location care about their critters. They make sure the people looking to purchase an animal has the correct info. Everyone is very friendly, willing to answer any questions you may have, and help in any way possible. The cages are clean and all the animals look healthy. I adopted a little one eyed hamster from them, and they were able to inform me on all of his medical care and what they did to help him. It's so refreshing and nice to know that there are people who care about the little guys. I'm so lucky to have my little Tofu!

There is a green cheeked conure here that is so sad and literally looks neglected. He sits in the top corner of his shelter all day. Makes me so sad because these birds are pricey and if he doesn’t look to be in good shape it’s less likely he will be bought. I really wish they would take better care of these animals. Someone please help this baby

I LOVE LOVE this Pet store!! It's super convenient to where I stay, they have the best employees 😀!! I do have to say though, the management needs to loosen up a bit 😏but they cool too!! I get my cat/ferret and fish supplies from here... ALWAYS! They get their fish 🐟 delivery on Fridays so I love to go there after... I have 3 tanks and they rock! Love my pets so much!

I’m writing this review after a very disappointing experience during a recent visit to PetSmart with my sister and my dad. On February 12, 2026 around 7:30 PM we came in to purchase dog toppers and cat food. While walking past the cat adoption area, we briefly glanced at one of the cats for a few seconds. We did not tap on the glass, knock, tease, or attempt to provoke the cat in any way. We weren’t even standing directly against the enclosure. The cat began scratching at the glass, and a woman who appeared to be a volunteer immediately accused us of taunting the cat. She was not directly observing us at the moment (she was looking down), yet confidently made that assumption. It was both surprising and inappropriate. We addressed it then and there letting her know that we did not “taunt”
