PetSmart

I had my two dogs groomed today, one big dog by Jade and my little dog by Chezney. Both dogs look great and are happy!! Thank you so much for working hard on them :)

It has been a roller-coaster ride with Petsmart when it comes to my relationship with the grooming salon. Unfortunately, several of the groomers that I have adored, and that did a wonderful job grooming the three Shih Tzus that I was left to take care of after my mother passed, left, and I was forced to allow a few not-so-good groomers to give them cuts on a couple occasions. I always tip very well, so when a groomer adds frivolous charges to the grooming that they can't justify, it doesn't hurt me, it hurts them, especially when the one that they add the charge to is the easiest of the bunch, so I know for a fact it is not legit. Not to mention no other groomer has ever added those extra charges to my grooming fees before, which is what they tried to claim when I called it out. I pay on t

We brought our dog for a groom in late November, not our first time here, and they gave us a board with 5-6 different hair lengths and asked which one we wanted. We had never seen this before and her hair was quite matted, so we chose the shortest option thinking it would help. None of the extremely unfriendly staff warned us that this was a complete shave at the beginning of winter that wouldn’t grow back for months, we thought we were just getting a very close cut. On top of that, it was over $100 when we expected $72. Very much do not recommend using this PetSmart for grooming and we will do this ourselves or elsewhere moving forward.

This was the first time bringing our kitten in for grooming services. Ester was an awesome groomer and Karen handled the administrative portion well. I did take pause with the disposition of Abigail. Not only was she off putting but not helpful. I reviewed the information online indicating walk-ins were permitted. Customer service training should be a must when dealing with the public. Instead of suggesting to a new customer that appointments are preferred, she begin saying what couldn't be done. Not good! Everything delivered was with ATTITUDE. Im so thankful she didn't have to provide the service or we would have left and gone to our physician at Providence Animal Hospital. So as it was, our babygirl received service and for that we are grateful.

We went to get pictures with Santa Claus for our dog today and Santa and the employee was very patient with our pup. She was a little nervous and unsure about it but they made us and our baby feel very comfortable and let her take her time. Pictures turned out great!
