I usually don’t leave reviews, but I am so aghast. Brought my shih tzu to get groomed, I assumed being a big conglomerate that they would hire professionals. Gave the groomer, Kimberly S, a basic idea of how I wanted my puppy to look like, even showed a picture. Instead she buzzed her whole body and face , making her look like some alley cat. She looks completely unrecognizable. Either this groomer is inexperienced or she is limited. If this was the look I wanted, I could have easily just buzzed my puppy myself and saved myself the $73 plus tax! If the way she looks wasn’t damaging enough, my puppy is acting skittish with me and won’t let me hold her, which raises my suspicion that she was mistreated in some way. This was my first and last time of going to a PetSmart. Never again.

I absolutely love this PetSmart location. It’s always clean, welcoming, and has such a friendly staff every time I visit. They truly make you feel comfortable, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the pets that come in. I always feel like my dog is well taken care of, which means everything to me. It honestly has a mom-and-pop feel because the team remembers my dogs and greets them like regulars. Highly recommend this store to any pet owner!

Stopped by PetSmart to pick up an online order and the process was super easy and quick. My order was ready when I arrived, and the staff was friendly and helpful. In and out in just a few minutes — exactly how pickup should be!

Every single time I book something at the grooming center at this location, they cancel on me when I get to the appointment and tell me the groomer called out or they overbooked. It’s annoying to bring my dog all the way there and go inside to just be turned away. This has happened to me THREE times already. They should probably not let people book appointments if the groomer isn’t available. I always book same-day appointments, so they obviously know that day that the groomer called out. I’ll be going to the one in Farmingdale because they’re a million times more organized there.

PetSmart Levittown, the more experienced groomer(s) recently retired from your team. It is crucial that you hire 1-2 groomers with at least 10 years of experience to work as Team Leads for your grooming shifts. Our little pup here had her paw pad deeply cut open by a less experienced groomer. While that might have been an accident, the bigger problem is NO ONE SAID ANYTHING TO US ABOUT THIS INJURY when we picked her up from her grooming session. There is no way that this bloody slice would have gone unnoticed when it occurred. This wound was cleaned off and hidden prior to us picking her up. The result was a severely limping dog for 3 weeks, which had to be medically treated by Bond Vet for prescription medication and a cast to shield her paw from further damage and infection. See photo.
