PetSmart Grooming

My dog Jhax absolutely loves Sabrina. She does a very good job. I feel so good about his visits.

I will just drive to Camarillo where they employ groomers that actually like dogs and want to groom. I’ve been to Newbury Park location several times and even with no dogs in sight and 2 employees, with 30 min until closing, they acted like grinding my dogs nails couldn’t be done. My dog has NEVER had a problem and has never been aggressive with a groomer. However she doesn’t like her nails done. So when the older brunette woman read me the notes that I WROTE about my own dog, I told her I’d take my dog elsewhere. The groomer seemed to be friendly, but whoever was at the cash register was more concerned by clocking out than providing good customer service. Too bad because I always tip well. Rude, lazy, inconsiderate. This grooming location stinks!

I took my 18 lb. dog in for a bath and full groom, no extras. When Kelce C. was checking my dog in she told me, "I'm going to use a conditioner on her." I did not know that was an extra charge, she never mentioned that. When she asked me to sign the hard copy of the same exact form that I had already signed online; she had her hand over the corner that had the price on it when showing me where she needed me to initial and sign. She never told me that there was an additional fee of $10.00 for conditioner for an 18 lb. dog, nor did I see the tiny print in the top corner of the completely fine print 8.5x11 page that they make you sign before leaving. I feel this was completely unethical behavior on Kelce's part. When I tried to explain this to the manager, all she cared about was that I sign

Alec was a regular King today. Not only did he help me find what I was looking for but brought it down for me off a high shelf. I appreciate his quick and helpful service. The extra tall dog gate is only available here and some things you can't trust to online sellers.

I've always had good experiences at this PetSmart grooming location. The grooming staff are friendly, and their love of animals is very apparent.
