I walked in totally overwhelmed by the wall of dog food options—grain-free, raw, senior, puppy, you name it—and he just stepped up like he'd been waiting for me. He didn't just point to a bag; he asked about my dog's age, breed, energy level, even her picky eating habits, then walked me through why certain brands (like purina pro plan and Hills science diet) matched her needs better than others. No sales pitch, just real knowledge—he knew the ingredients inside out, which ones avoid fillers, and even which ones are easier on sensitive stomachs. This place is always top-notch when it comes to customer service. The staff actually love their jobs, unlike the employees at Petco. The staff at Petco could really learn something from the staff at PetSmart. This store is always super clean. The animals are well taken care of. The crickets are always beautiful there, and the cricket cage doesn't reak of dead crickets like Petco. This store has a huge variety of stuff, even for small animals. I always leave this store happy. Honestly, the store is so pleasant I am never in a rush to leave. The staff helps you with a smile even if they are busy.

Like most specialty shops they are a little pricey but with a good selection also. Pretty clean in the store, quick cleanup from accidents! Right now Archie, is taking their training class for beginner/puppy's. Reasonable pricing for their 6 week sessions. Same instructor, Sandra, that I had 12 years ago with my first puppy, Jack. She did a good job then and was glad she was still there. Consistency is good!!

The PetSmart in Las Vegas is very clean and professionally run. They help you find what you're looking for and the prices are pretty decent.

Less than one month ago I got my 15 yr old daughter a ball python at the W. Shaw store. I also spent over $200 for a terrarium and food. She had been painting and doing extra house chores for several months to earn her snake. The snake never seemed very active but the store kept telling us to be patient that it takes time for them to settle in. Last night the poor little guy died right in front of me and my daughter. Today I called the store and spoke to Rebecca who said there is nothing that can be done because they only offer a 14 day pet exchange policy. As you can imagine this is devastating and I asked for an exception but they refused. Now we are left with a dead snake and a cage and to add insult to injury my daughter now can’t afford a new one. I felt others should know about this
