Ohana K9 Academy - Dog Training, Boarding & Dog Daycare

We love Ohana! We brought our Sasha girl when she was a 5 month old puppy to the 8 week program. She is such a well behaved dog and despite her strength and size, we have control over her that she enjoys and wants to follow commands. She is now 2 years old and still gets so excited to go for boarding or daycare there. We can take her places or travel with her and know that she will behave well. She loves people and gets along with other dogs thanks to her exposure and training at Ohana. They not only trained her but they trained us! We highly recommend Ohana K-9 Academy!

We had such a great experience with the 6-week training program, and Louie was absolutely amazing to work with. From the start, he took the time to understand our dog’s personality and specific needs, which made the training feel very personalized. Throughout the program, Louie was patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He not only worked with our dog but also made sure we understood the techniques so we could continue reinforcing the training at home. His communication and guidance made the whole process easy to follow. We had an amazing experience with Ohana K9 Training. TJ, our trainer, took such great care of our puppy “Scout” and made the entire process positive and reassuring. The facility is clean, welcoming, and clearly run by people who truly care about the dogs they work with. The staff was attentive and professional from start to finish, we really appreciated the daily updates that kept us informed about our puppy’s progress. TJ showed incredible patience, kindness, care and expertise while working with Scout and us. The lessons were clear, practical, and made a huge difference in our confidence as dog owners. I can’t say enough great things about Ohana K9 Training. I came in with a very stubborn dog , Beretta, who struggled with confidence and had a really hard time going on walks as well as public places . From the very beginning Tobin was absolutely amazing—so patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping Beretta succeed. He truly took the time to understand her needs and build her confidence at her own pace. Over time, I saw a huge improvement in her confidence, her behavior on walks, and her ability to follow commands. She’s now doing so much better both on and off leash, and our bond has improved tremendously. Ohana is the best choice for dog training! When we got our first puppy, we knew we wanted to be intentional about training because we hadn't previously been with our adult dogs. Ohana came highly recommended by a friend whose puppy thrived in the program. Alex took time to get to know Brodys' strengths and leaned into them in order to work on his weaknesses. After four weeks of puppy board and train, he is much more confident, mannered, and behaved, while we were also given tools to be better dog owners for him. Ohana also gave him lots of time with other puppies to play, which we got updates on through pictures and videos. They are a great facility and worth every penny!
