I have been a customer of Petsmart at several locations in different cities for many years with various pets. I have always had a great and more importantly consistent experience across the years and locations. These experiences have built my trust and loyalty for the brand. Today, I arrived late for my grooming appointment at the Easley Petsmart location and was notified that they might not be able to honor the appointment time. This has happened before and usually we find a compromise between rescheduling or a work in. I am generally personable and easy to work with. Anjy, the groomer assigned to my appointment stated that they could try to work my dog in, but could not guarantee it. I wouldn't even choose 1 star! I have been going to this particular store for a while now and something has drastically changed in the past few months. Today was the final straw for me. I get my pups groomed there because we are unable to cut their nails at home because their nails are black and I am afraid I will cut to low. We usually get the bath and brush service because it includes the nail trim. On our last visit , last month the lady bringing my sweet Maggie to the front when I was picking her up after being groomed dragged her a good 3 to 4 feet across the filthy floor! They use the lease that goes around the neck to escort the dogs to and fro. My sweet Maggie is not use to this as we have the body harness leash so it doesn't choke her. I brought my dog in as a walk-in for a simple nail trim, and the experience was extremely uncomfortable. From the moment we walked in, the woman at the front desk had a very negative attitude. She seemed irritated that we were there and made it obvious she didn’t want to deal with another customer. When my boyfriend stepped away, her demeanor toward me became noticeably more hostile. Her tone was sharp, dismissive, and unwelcoming. I understand businesses can get busy, but there is no excuse for treating customers with that level of disrespect — especially over a basic nail trim. I did not feel comfortable leaving my dog in that environment, so I chose to leave and take her somewhere else. Absolutely disappointed in the Halloween event!!!!! Where was the photo set up? Different stations ? Toys and all that for our babies? Came around 1 and it was just like any other day. One cashier checking people out a mile long. Another worker acting like they can't speak passing by. Do better!!!

Funny holiday incident....my grandpuppy baby daddy, Samson, came in for a comprehensive check up and left as a borderline SHOPLIFTER. I have photos but Google won't let me post them. So, I'll just say, "Not ALL Pitbulls, but most of 'em."
