PetSmart

This is the worst experience and Petsmart ever. Had a grooming appointment for at 10am. When I dropped him off, he was hyper more than usual. At 12 noon, I get a phone call stating that my dog was on the way to the urgent vet. I asked why was he being taken there and they stated bc when the went to take him out of the crate, they notice his breathing. After being there for two hours he hadn’t been groomed and now going to the urgent vet. Went to the urgent vet and spoke to the veterinarian but never spoke to the petsmart employee. The veterinarian stated that he was ok but was just excited to be around there and around the other animals. I will never to my pet to this location. I usually go to the locations in Virginia Beach but this location was closer to my home in which is an hour away.

I want to say a big thank you to the woman working in the fish department today. She was knowledgeable and kind. Please take care of your staff. You've got a great team.🥰

Decent store I wish it was cleaner I bent down to pick up an item I had dropped the floor was very dirty. Does not look like it’s vacuumed or swept regularly. I wish they would take better care of the fish every time I go there is multiple fish dead in the tanks and in the beta cups. Compared to other pet stores in the area this one falls short. A lot of the workers like to give education on how to take care of the animals but it seems like they need to take their own advice.

Got my first snake here and she’s so sweet. I could handle her right away without her being hissy or trying to bite me. She was eating frozen thawed right off the bat which is my preferred method of feeding. She quickly became a loved member of the family.
