We booked an appointment for our goldendoodle who hadn’t had an appointment in a while because she got spayed. When we booked the appointment online we made sure that we put she would need extra care for her knots and that she would need more time and attention. We drop her off again expressing that she does have knots and even though we do our best to brush her, she needs more attention on those areas. Next thing we know we get a call telling us the only option is to buzz her completely. Mind you we told them she has knots and in my honest opinion… the knots weren’t bad enough to equate to buzzing the dog completely. I personally think they simply didn’t wan to deal with that. We also have had our dog there to be groomed many times and they would always leave knots behind her ears or not

Got a great cat tree here that my cats love. They helped me move it to my car. Overall, a great experience each time I go. I’d stay away from Whisker City products, however. The employees are so helpful and make shopping really easy. Clearly, they are pet lovers as well. Great selection of stuff as well— I always end up spending more than what I intended, but I have a good time doing it

I get all my snake stuff ( other than mice I don't buy mice from them I have a local person near Scottsville who I deal with for rats) we spend a good 200 a week here and love it. The 5th street location is fabulous.

I highly recommend taking puppy class with Sariah! She is super knowledgeable and passionate about training. The class was a great value for all the support she provided through the puppy stage. We are planning on taking additional classes and private lessons with her as our dog gets older.

Way more selection than the smaller stores, organized well, and you can usually find what you need without having to hop around. Definitely my preferred spot for pet shopping. Bought two cockatiels from this location in 2024.
