This shop is awesome! It’s rare to find a pet boutique that has a such a huge selection of cat items. The amount of merchandise to choose from for cat lovers was great and unexpected. Of course the shop has a variety of dog supplies as well but it was nice to have more than a small section of cat merch to choose from as you would normally find in other shops. One thing that stood out and would make me highly recommend this shop is their customer service. They were great in the store, very welcoming and friendly but it’s what what happened after that left a lasting impression. After spending far more than planned, we realized after we got home (we are in northern VA and about 2 hours away) that my daughter left a bag of our purchases in the store. My boyfriend and I just visited Charlottesville for the weekend with our two dogs, and I knew we had to stop by this morning before we left. As an obsessive dog mom and a cat owner, I love visiting local pet stores to spoil my animals—and this has to be my favorite one yet. They have an amazing variety of items—not just for dogs, but for cats as well—plus fun items and gift ideas for us humans. Also, everything is so cute and unique; for example, instead of the usual cliché phrases, they have silly and fun sayings on shirts, hats, and socks. Second time visiting Pawprints Boutique while on vacation and another pleasant experience. We were able to get reasonably priced gifts for our 2 dogs and 2 cats. The shop owner was lovely and engaged us and our 3 young daughters throughout our visit with cheerful conversation. We plan to visit this shop every time we visit Charlottesville.
