I came in intending to spend at least $150 on my cat Snow and while I was shopping one of the workers was put up to embarrassing me by spraying a nasty odor next to me while I was shopping. I was one of 2 customers in the store thank goodness for that! I immediately turned around to see one of the women who work here hurry away from me and disappear so of course I follow to confront her in an Assertive way, I have had a few of these types of behavior due to a new widely practiced but little known about demoralizing and humiliating tactic aimed at destroying someone’s self esteem. This review is for Wayne (grooming salon), not the store. For as long as I am in this area I will only take my cat (Chidi Anagonye) to see Wayne at PetSmart on Rivers. The level of care and friendliness he gave Chidi is beyond exceptional. In his 4 long years on this earth Chidi has seen a couple of groomers. When Wayne was finished with my cat I realized he was never properly groomed before. Wayne if you ever leave PetSmart, let me know where you’re going so I can follow you 😉. P.S. The staff is always amazing and helpful with my needs and gives good recommendations for what to buy and what not to buy when it comes to my hamster. Unfortunately I have to stop shopping here for any food in regards to hamsters.. and any bird owner I would recommend you stop aswell. The past 3 food items I bought from here (Vegetable & fruit pie for hamsters, dried meal worms, and an accidental buy of bird seeds) have all had LIVE BUGS on the inside. No, it didn’t come from my house or the outside as the bugs were very apparent when opening the packages. Seems to be the same type of bug in every package. Small black bugs unable to identify.

We go there for the huge variety of high quality dog foods. Yes, they are a little higher in price, but the quality they carry is much higher. Plus, a higher quality of food helps your dog just like eating healthier is better for you. One of the great things I like about them is if you buy a dog or cat food and they don't like it, you can exchange it for something else. They also have a wide variety of toys, chews, shampoos etc. Oh and lastly, they welcome you to bring your pet into the store with you. So much so that they even have some cleaning wipes around if your baby has an accident.

It’s getting a one star because I can’t leave a zero ! I went in to adopt a kitten on Friday , I was told by a female staff they had to have two managers on duty to adopt , I needed to come back Saturday , the next day from 10-2 to adopt, didn’t like that because we live an hour away but , I was really set on adopting this kitten ! Went back Saturday , the next day ! I was told to ! Go in I wanted to get to know the kitten and I was told no . I can’t . Again I am told no manager was there to help me adopt and I wasn’t even allowed to go in to see if the kitten was a good match . Ok what time will your manager be in so I can adopt , and was told I’m not sure sorry , complete rudeness . Again I drove from an hour away and I still couldn’t w a get close to the kitten .
