I don’t post reviews but I’m so hurt after being at this store over 15 years for my pets. Here’s my post and pretty long but please read when you have some time. Today, I had a scheduled grooming appointment for my dog. From the start, the environment did not feel friendly or welcoming. When I approached the counter, a young lady asked for my dog’s name and vaccination records. I explained that the records were on my phone, which I had left in my car. I went back to retrieve my phone and then returned to the grooming salon. Upon returning, I mentioned that since the veterinary services are connected to the store, I thought the groomers might be able to access my dog’s records. The groomer responded rudely, saying, “Well, we don’t have that,” and then walked away without making eye contac

DISGUSTING PLACE! Stop selling live animals! ENOUGH! Its 2025!!! Why are exotic birds still being sold and kept in HORRIBLE, inhumane conditions! SHAME ON YOUR PETSMART AND PETCO! This cockatiel is obviously SICK! these are social animals, they cant be alone! And you guys have the nerve to deduct 20% off from a living thing!!!??!?! STOP SELLING LIVE ANIMALS! I cant believe the parakeets were 50% for Black Friday, like wow. At least get these animals medical assistance. This was at Petsmart in Bridgewater NJ. THIS IS TORTURE!

Read the 1 star reviews which are mostly related to grooming service, now making sense for what happened to me. I reserved basic cleaning and arrived on time. The receptionist asked me if add-on wanted I said no. Then she checked my golden's fur saying he has to be groomed no matter what. I agreed but they don't have time slot for grooming, requesting me to come back later. I said that only cleaning is alright just leaving the knotted part alone. She said she can't do only cleaning. OK then I left because I don't like to return in the snowy day. Later on I figured they only earn commission on add on service, which explained why she turned me away. Nasty attitude and no love to her job at all. Can't imagine how they treat animals. Stay away.

Use banfield vet for my dogs. The vet they have is wonderful. He obviously cares about the animals. Explains everything to you so you know what's going on with your pet. I've had good experiences across the board so far here and I've been coming for a couple years now. Plus there wellness plans are great
