PetsHotel Bel Air

I've taken my mini bernedoodle to Pets Hotel several times, including overnights and doggy playtime, and they've all been great experiences. You can tell that the ladies that run the place love pets and are very passionate about the care that they provide. And my dog loves going there too...she gets so excited every time that we walk in there. I've also taken my dog to a Pets Hotel down in Northern Virginia when visiting family, and while the experience there was fine as well, the staff at that location didn't quite exude that same level of passion & care as the ladies that work at the Bel Air location.

Another awful experience at Petsmart. Booked a boarding appointment with the Bel Petsmart Pet Hotel Air location weeks ago for my two dogs. Showed up with my vaccination records and waited while the front desk employee checked over the records. After a few minutes the employee (did not catch her name), told me that she cannot accept the printed records - she needed them e-mailed from the vet office. I told her my cellphone was in my car.. and would it be ok for me to leave my dogs while I run out and get it? She told me no, so I asked if she could call the vet and she obliged. Poor customer service if you ask me. After speaking with the vet, she refused to take my dogs because the DPP vaccine requires the entire series to be complete before they can offer service. Wonderful people providing great care!! My dog loves to go whether it's for the day or for a stay. I know she's in great hands and will have a fun time. She's treated like Family and so am I. Love, love, love this place!

I was very disappointed with my dogs recent stay. We were forced to board them for a family emergency. I payed for 8 hours of play time. During one of these sessions another dog bit my 5 1/2 month old puppy on the nose and muzzle, drawing blood. They called me and told me that the vet said it was minor. My issue was the the staff person blamed my puppy for lack of impulse control and getting too close to another dog. Not the biting dog who was not isolated and removed from the play area. I don't agree how they divide dogs up by weight, putting puppies in with adult dogs that bite. I should have requested individual play time. I blame myself for trusting this place. Obviously, it is more about money than protecting dogs.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. The girls take such great care of Whiskey. He loves the day camp especially the day camp! I don't understand how the low star reviews below are even a thing. They upfront when booking on exactly what you need to provide for stay. 10/10!!
