PetPALS

am writing this review to warn other pet owners. I brought my dog to Pet Pals for a routine procedure. Within days, I noticed something was very wrong. He was clearly in pain, and a mass began growing outside of his skin. I took him to a vet in Burnet and was initially told to give it time, but the condition continued to worsen. I then sought a second opinion in Buchanan, where the veterinarian told me they had never seen anything like this before and quoted surgery around $750. Later, Highland Lakes Veterinary Clinic confirmed that my dog had a mass growing both externally and underneath the skin. Between Pet Pals and multiple veterinary visits, I have now spent over $1,000 trying to address an issue that began after his visit here. When I contacted Pet Pals to explain what happened a

Lovely experience. Great care and passion from all volunteer staff. When I called to make appointment, they called back within minutes with a date and explained in detail what to expect. Easy flowing registration and pick up. It does take up to 45 mins to process you in but your pet is already in the back waiting for surgery while you complete registration/payment. And they do offer yearly vaccines along with your spay/nueter. I paid $83 for a 4 mo feline for total care. (Surgery, yearly vaccines including Lukemia and rabies, plus!) They accept cash and check only but they tell you this beforehand so you are prepared. I will never take my dog to Pet Pals again, and I strongly urge other pet owners to think twice before trusting them. I brought my dog in to be fixed, and what should have been a routine surgery turned into a nightmare. The procedure was done so poorly that my dog developed a massive scrotal hematoma, was bruised purple and blue, and quickly became infected. I had to take him to two different vet clinics just to get the infection under control, and he eventually needed major surgery to repair the damage. He lost over a quart of blood and has to be on 3 different types of medication now. He's only 2! To make matters worse, while I was at the veterinarian clinic, two other dogs came in who had undergone the same procedure at Pet Pals the same day as my dog and both also had infections. This

I got two female dogs fix today. I want to thank everyone at Pet Pals so much. For the love that they showed to my dogs. They went out of there way to make sure that my dogs nails was cut. Give good after care instruction.

Horrible horrible place. please for the safety of you animals never go here. They gave my friends cat to someone else and when she went to pick him up tried to give her a different cat. Unacceptable behavior and you shouldn’t sacrifice the safety of your animal for the “low cost”.
