Whenever we are in the area visiting family, Petopia is always very accommodating for our two golden doodles to stay! Highly recommend them.

The only reason I’m not leaving a 1 star review is because we’ve been going to Petopia for years and haven’t had issues until now. I picked up my dogs after they stayed at Petopia for a few nights. Once at home, I noticed my one dog bleeding from the snout. It appeared to be a bite from another dog. I called 3 times to ask about it and each time my call was ended. Eventually, I did get a call back. I was told my dog had rubbed her snout on the kennel until it started bleeding (which definitely is a possibility). I would just like to be informed of the injury and how it happened when I picked her up. Second, I noticed poop smeared in the backseat of my vehicle after letting my dogs out. I then noticed diarrhea all over my dog. I’m not asking for a full grooming but at least rinse her off

I boarded my dog over the holiday weekend. While the staff were kind, the overall experience was frustrating. I was told he needed an evaluation since it had been just over a year (by one week) since his last visit to Petopia. I understand this new policy under management, but I had boarded him in my hometown just a few months prior (in December). It might be helpful if they allowed recent boarding elsewhere as a reference or accepted a referral from another facility. I was told the evaluation would be free unless he stayed over 6 hours, but I was later charged $17, which was frustrating. There was also some confusion with the emergency contact info, and I didn’t realize until evaluation drop-off that I’d need to pick him up Tuesday due to the Memorial Day closure—this added an extra nigh
