Petco

Bought 3 young cichlids, African, firemouth, and a convict. Price was reasonable and all 3 are settling into their new digs, along with other fish in an established tank, just fine. Have bought several times at Petco with pretty good luck. The only knock on the cichlids is the variety of choices - not many...would recommend as one source but not the only one.

This is the second visit in the past few months in which the cashier named Sydney has gone above and beyond to help me. Sydney cares about the customer and their situation and has gained knowledge and confidence since she’s been at Petco on Hacienda. Gosh I hope she never leaves. I’d follow her to another nearby Petco though for sure. I was pretty stressed out during my last visit because of a Pet health situation I was going through, and her kindness and helpfulness lightened up the whole situation. Sydney is also very good at up selling because she knew exactly where two much needed items were located in the store that I wasn’t able to find on my own. And they were pricey!

we had wonderful service here, a floor attendant told us to ask for the Padres day discount and we got $5 off of our new pink leash! The leash was already a good price and we were happy to see a big selection for what we need. the cashier was very patient with us while Mom got the money for us to pay, it took a long time and we got out of the line and let a lady and her kids go ahead of us, the kids liked us a lot, because w are 2 cute cats

Wow… double coat shaved to the skin… chopped in head legs and ears… complete opposite of last visit… but they assure me it was the same #7… Poor guy I hope he doesn’t have issues growing it back. I know, I know .. what did I expect going to a Petco. Lesson learned.

Great lunch-dinner menu. Recommend the seafood pasta plate and the shrimp & crab Louie plate. Tasty and beautifully presented by Broiler chefs and wait staff Jennifer.
