Staycation For Dogs

Staycation is my dogs’ go-to place for daycare and overnight boarding, and they always have the best time there! The staff is incredibly nice, caring, and well-trained. I really appreciate how they keep me updated during my dogs’ stay and send photos—it gives me so much peace of mind knowing they are happy and well taken care of. Whenever they come back home, they are always super happy and tired from playing all day! 🐶 I also want to highlight how easy the booking process is through their website. They maintain very high health standards and require all vaccine records, which I really value. My dogs truly enjoy their time there, and it’s great knowing they are in such good hands.

My dog, Nico absolutely loves his time at Staycation! He is a regular daycare pup as well as a semi-frequent boarder. I love the add-ons, particularly extra cuddle time for when I am away for longer periods of time. He always comes home happy, tired and very well looked after. The regular photo updates and willingness to respond to my frantic dog mom texts also go a long way toward me knowing he is super happy and safe!

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I found myself in a situation where I had to leave her in the care of professionals. There are many choices out there so as a new dog mom I didn’t know where to start or who to trust. But after my HoneyBear stayed a half day for their daycare program and played so happily as the picture they sent me proved so, I was convinced we were in the right place. I just came back from a 4 day trip where I left my baby at Staycation and they assured me all during my trip that she was good and even that they enjoyed having her there 🥰 Highly recommend for feeling peace with leaving your fur baby here.

The pups had a great time at Staycation for Dogs. I was a little nervous because both Toby and Sophie are nervous around larger doggies. But, there were plenty of small doggies for them to pay with. Booking online and conversing with the staff was simple and you can tell they enjoy their jobs and love doggies. The pups spent about three nights there and we got the attached photos while they were there. I think Toby has a smile on his face in one of them. Toby and Sophie eat fresh food, which was not a problem for the staff to handle. The pups also got a bath, nail trim and ear clean, which the staff tells me the pups were very cooperative for. Finding the location and parking was very simple and I love how close they are to Escondido. All in all the experience was great and we will b
