Petco

Guy named Andrew (I think) was extremely aggressive with my dog, Tito. It was his first time coming to Petco to be groomed and he suffers from anxiety but he is normally chill and complemented to be cooperative at the groomers besides this. Unfortunately my dog was obviously very against the harsh action displayed by the man as he didn’t even try to properly ease my dog into the process, Gave us a bunch of issues, and clearly didn’t know how to properly handle a dog. I hope Riverhead’s Petco properly trains their staff and makes sure their fit for their role because I would hate for someone’s sweet dog to go through this as well.

It was terrible. I used to go there specifically for the loose grain free treats, you had several different options. Now the store I go to doesn't have any loose grain free treats. My dog can't have any grain free chicken, beef, etc. Only salmon or bison. I tried a different store they only had one option. My dog looked forward to those treats. I now have to go somewhere else all together.

The lovely lady with the world's cutest service dog in the fish department was so friendly and helpful. Was able to answer all my questions and help me pick out my fish. The cashier was also very pleasant at checkout.

I am new to fish keeping and always feel confident with the help and information I receive picking out compatible fish for my tank !!! My friends also buy their fish at Petco of Riverhead !!!

I enjoy shopping at Petco in Riverhead. They're usually well stocked and have similar sales and animals for purchase as my other favorite stores. If I'm in the area, I usually stop by real quick.
