Petco

This pet stores fish tanks contains ICH, a parasite which is highly contagious and infected the rest of my fish. I returned to the store to look at their fish tanks, and there was plenty of dead fish throughout with white spots on them. I am extremely frustrated, as I merely came to purchase a few additions for my planted and self sustaining fish tank. Multiple years of work turned into dying ornamental fish because of this stores lack of care for living animals. Do not buy fish from this place.

Tina the groomer made me feel very uncomfortable about leaving my fur baby with her. When we arrived, she was told that we were here and shouted out “HUHHHH I DON’T WANT TO DO IT.” Very unprofessional and not a way to conduct Petco’s grooming. I didn’t feel that my dog would be in great care. I asked for a manager, and no manager was available. I then spoke with leader Mikaila, who didn’t acknowledge the situation or apologize. No accommodation was given, so I canceled the grooming, as I did not feel that my dog would be safe.

UPDATE: "The Fish Lady" called and I was able to go pick up the fish I was looking for!! Great customer service! Employee was very knowledgeable & friendly in the fish dept. They didn't have what I wanted in stock but was able to let me know when the next shipment was coming in.

I would give zero stars if I could. A manager, whose name I have yet to confirm, decided to sell me a vital care subscription under the guise that I would be saving money. It turned out to be quite shady and deceitful. She neglected to mention that it was a 12-month commitment and instead lied and said that I could cancel at any time. She also didn't mention that I was going to be double charged because they would, halfway through the subscription, change the plan that was agreed upon to something more expensive WITHOUT CONSULTING ME. Customer service refuses to give me a refund. They wouldn't even cancel the membership until I said I rehomed the pets. The manager at the store who I spoke with on the phone today did not help either. Whatever you do, do not purchase Petco vital care. It is

Horrible customer service at this store, especially in the tropical fish dept. If I could leave a negative star rating it would be -10. Was purchasing $20 dollars in food every week loyally for over a year and after today's experience I will NEVER go back.
