Petco

Had a lovely visit the other day to get supplies for my fish and small critters, and Will (not sure of last name?) specifically was so helpful! As someone who values the proper care and understanding of pets, I'm so glad that there is staff that is knowledgeable like Will. Found what I needed quickly and he was very kind! Obviously I didn't get to meet everyone, but if the other staff of this store are at all like him, I will be coming back. Interactions with my cashier were also kind, attentive, and quick. Thanks so much!

The employees at this Petco are SO NICE, SO KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND SO HELPFUL! I left the store feeling really pleased with my experience, which is so not the case these days in most other stores! The Managers must be doing everything right because it was a really good vibe in the store and shopping experience overall.

I wanted to take the time to leave a wonderful review for one of New Milford Petco’s groomers, Hanna. She took great care of my dog Jazzy. He got bathed and trimmed and she took great care to understand what I hoped for in his service and took time to explain, answer questions and most importantly, took time to make friends with Jazzy. He was happy, tail wagging when I left him in her care and happy, tail wagging when I picked him up. He looked great and she went above and beyond to make sure it was a great experience.

I had the most horrible experience any dog owner can have. I took my dog for a bath and haircut and have a beautiful Pomeranian. The groomer, Joel, cut all of his hair off. He looks like a hairless cat. Any professional would know better than to do that cut to a dog, especially a Pom. My dog’s beautiful hair is all GONE. I know it’s just hair, but he’s never had such short hair in his whole life. It’s not normal for his breed to have such short hair. I couldn’t even recognize my boy, and when I saw him, I started crying in disbelief. I felt so terrible that I took him there. To top it all off, I found a tick on him moments after we left. How is it that you take your dog to the groomer, and they cut all his hair off but don’t notice the tick? I saw it minutes after picking him up because h

I took my dog (Oreo, a Yorkie) to his first groomer (he’s 5 months). His hair was overgrown and matted and I was waiting for all his vaccination before scheduling a groomer. When I went in, I knew his body was going to be low because he was so matted, but the face was suppose to remain fluffy but cut. I showed inspo pic from Pinterest and Joel (the groomer) said he could do it. They couldn’t finish the appointment because my dog was anxious since it was his 1st visit. So they were only able to bath him and cut his body hair. His face looked the same and not cleaned. I even called asking if they washed his face because it was oily. I washed his face at home. I returned a few days later for them to finish the service I paid for and cut his face. When I return they shaved his face entirely. H
