Petco

I personally love this Petco. For a chain pet store, the employees are very friendly and surprisingly knowledgeable (most, not all) from my experience. I used to avoid big stores like this, but I feel comfortable here and it is my go-to in person pet store.

Place was a mess, employees acted bothered to even help, tanks were full of dead aquatic snails and they were happily bagging them for customers. Worse Petco I have ever visited.

I appreciate how the employees of Petco care about the welfare of their animals. When I went in to get a guinea pig I mentioned to the girl working that I was going to keep it outside with my rabbit. The employee kindly educated me about appropriate housing and I'm so glad she did. A lot of places just want to sell an animal to make a buck but Petco employees make sure they have proper habitats to go home to.

I was dissatisfied with the clerk's refusal to get further advice as to why the 20% off a food purchase notice I had could not be used. Since I buy very large bags of dry Science Diet dog food regularly from ya'll this 20% off would have been very helpful yet she would not honor it. Frustrating!
