It was time for our black lab, Sasha, to have a nice bath and get cleaned up for Christmas. The DIY tubs at PetCo are a great way to go. Luckily, our labs have always liked the body massage that goes along with washing and drying from a bath! After the bath, Sasha loves to walk through the isles, checking out all of the smells, and we let her pick one item as a reward. So many people, staff and customers, stopped us to say hello and interact with Sasha. During one stop, Sasha noticed two ferrets that were playing in their clear-sided pen and was totally interested in getting in with them! She knew they weren't cats, but had never seen any before. The staff were so nice, and several stopped us to interact with Sasha; nearly each also asked me if they could give her a treat - I approve

The groomers are always very friendly and know how to make my Icy look amazing and she's always leaving really happy. Love coming here and so does Icy! 😊🐾💖

While the grooming services have been fine here, the staff has no manners/awareness with customers. The first time I came in for a scheduled appointment (booked online) I was informed upon arrival that I needed my dogs rabies documents. The staff was incredibly rude, and attempted to make it seem like I was so idiot for not bringing that (with no indication upon booking). Brought my dog in today for a nail trip, quickly ran to Trader Joe’s (no more than 15 minutes) and upon return was told “YOU CANT LEAVE THE STORE, you can’t leave your dog here and leave the store”. I was no told when I dropped him off about this “rule” i wasn’t told how long the appointment would be. But once again was scolding by the staff. Buyers be aware. They gave me a 20% discount coupon for Churu treats for cats. Couldn’t use it online when the unit price was $32.99. I went to buy it in store so I can use the coupon and the shelf price was $41.99!!! Talk about a rip off scam! Eventually the woman at checkout agreed to match the price after proceeding to explain how they need to charge more for items in store to pay for transportation! $9 extra for transpiration! Like they’re receiving every individual item via private transport! This company greed knows no limit.

I love the new Petco store! They have added raw dog food and healthier options for dogs and cats. The on-site vet is a great service too! Its so convenient to shop here and I get everything I need. The staff is friendly and helpful.
