Petco Grooming

Every single time I take my pet for grooming here I constantly always pay for the extra package and to my knowledge I always leave unsatisfied I even paid for them to buff. The nails, and my dog’s nails were not buffed at all on top of that. Her anal glands were definitely not expressed because the next day it smelled like fish so I had to do it myself and then everything‘s been fine ever since then it feels like a waste of money cause it’s all the time that I go through this what’s the point of having the extra special packages if they’re not gonna buff the nails Or express the glands. When I pay for it her ears didn’t even smell clean they put bows on my dog everyone was super friendly but overall I’d rather wash my dog at home .

I don’t know what sort of grooming school this place graduated from — possibly the “Edward Scissorhands School of Abstract Landscaping” — but what they did to my beautiful Australian Shepherd should be considered a crime against fur. I dropped off my dog, a majestic, double-coated, fluff-laden Aussie named Duke expecting a tidy trim and a deshedding. What I got back looked like a patchy llama in the middle of a nervous breakdown. They shaved his butt. Not trimmed — shaved. As in, bald. As in, you-can-see-his-goosebumps bald. His tail looks like a sad feather duster hanging off a dust bunny. If you knew anything about this breed shaving is not recommended because it can damage undercoat and affect their ability to regulate temperature. The coat won’t grow back the same way after shaving. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Petco location. I dropped my dog off for grooming at 1 PM and was told he will be ready in 3 hours. I decided to go back at 4:30 PM because I didn’t receive a call. When I came back, I could hear my dog barking from the back, and only then was I told they were double-booked and hadn’t even finished with him. No one bothered to call or communicate this at any point. To make matters worse, they told me my dog had pooped in a kennel — something he has never done before. That tells me he was sitting in there for far too long without attention. Best groomer my dog has ever had. Took me weeks to find someone who can cut my dog nails because he’s a little hyper to nail clipping but Kimberly did the job and very well. My new permanent groomer

I like the grooming and the hair stylist was friendly. My doggie genitals were irritated. Not sure what happened. We are monitoring it closely. He was groomed yesterday 10/8/25.
