Petco Grooming

The groomers over at Petco Cary always do a great job with my two dogs but I have to give a giant shoutout to KC for his work with my dog Chewy. Chewy can be a handful and KC has not only worked with us to get him groomed but has given amazing tips to help get Chewy more comfortable with the grooming experience overall. Hearing that Chewy is doing better and better with each grooming highlights his great experiences with KC, and I am so grateful to the team at this store for always taking great care of my pups but for especially giving tips to help acclimate a newly adopted dog to grooming. I’d recommend KC and this salon to anyone!

The salon manager KC does an excellent job with my two babies. He has excellent customer service and communication. My dogs adore him. They are excited to get groomed and spend a few hours with him. His attention to detail is second to none. He ensures my dogs leave happy, healthy and smelling just as good as they look. So grateful to have such a great groomer so close to home, so much so that I’m moving 2hrs away and still planning on coming back here for grooming appointments. I know KC loves my dogs just as much as my family does that is worth the drive.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Petco grooming location. I arrived on time for my dog’s appointment, but the manager, KC, was rude and made me wait outside before letting me in. Once inside, KC told me they couldn’t do a haircut because of “too many mats” and that only a vet with a razor could handle it. The very next day I took my dog to a different groomer, and they had no trouble giving a full haircut. The mats were minor and easily managed. This shows Petco wasted my time and gave me incorrect information. KC’s attitude was unprofessional, and I won’t be returning for grooming services here. Pet owners deserve respectful treatment and honest assessments, not dismissive behavior.

Good grooming experience. Didn’t cut my dog’s dew claws, so deducted one star.

Emma is the best. Lily loves here.We will miss her since I have to move home for surgery.
