Store is beautiful, so many good different foods for my 13 year old Chihuahua rescue Chico. Gentleman at register was very nice, definitely will make the 30 minute drive from Woonsocket RI again

Update: recently spoke with the staff in the fish section and they were unaware that the water temperature should match the tank temperature when doing water changes. So that explains why the fish are always dead and sick in this store, as they are abusing the fish every time they do a water change. Three weeks later after I informed the staff of this, I continue to see dead and sick fish in the tanks along with extremely stressed fish huddled in corners of the tanks desperately seeking warm pockets. I saw that the floating temperature gauge was 60 degrees F in one tank. The worst part is the utter disregard and carelessness of the the staff, because now they are aware of the issue. They literally couldn’t care less. The people in this store should be criminally investigated for animal abu

The living conditions of the animals here is terrifying… Leopard Geckos kept on carpet, nowhere to hide, in fact their hides are useless because the open side is facing the glass… Don’t have a humid hide either. And the poor ferrets are kept in a small enclosure with no stimulation or anywhere to hide besides that it’s overcrowded.

Big store with a lot of products, wasn’t busy when I arrived, but found something interesting.

Don’t buy your dog kibble from this petco!!! I’ve never had an issue with my dog’s food until buying the same brand as usual from this store. Opened the package to find MAGGOTS 🤢. Will never be returning to this petsmart, I’ll drive the next town over to make sure my dog’s get SAFE food to consume.
