Cat food on sale, purchased 12 cases, after receiving them and stacked in my garage, a strange order appeared shortly afterwards. Opened a case of the product, and they were full of dead maggots, so gross (pictures attached). Contacted the store, was told it was past the 30-day return window and nothing could do, then I sent the picturs and was told they needed 24 hours to resolve. That was on Sept 13th, five days ago, I contact them everyday since and told the same thing. Will be filling a claim with corporate as well as other agencies to make sure this doesn't happen to another customer, suggest we all try other business as this one is just a complete failure and should be ashamed of thier lack of customer suppoert. I did nothing wrong except purchase their products...

This is the only place in Elk Grove that I would buy a fish from. Their tanks are so well cared for. I am very happy with their service and return policy. If your fish happens to die after buying it you can return the body and with a sample of your water which they test you can get a refund. If you have a well maintained tank I doubt you will use their return policy. The store is well stocked with all things cat, dog and other little critters too. Unfortunately, they didn't have any availability when we tried to bring my cat here after he started showing some UTI symptoms, so we had to see another vet. The Vetco staff were very helpful in ensuring we got the best food possible but after his UTI symptoms continued, I called and asked what they could do. They offered to get him in to be seen but I explained that we believe stress is playing a role in the situation -- we have two other cats who always respond poorly after he returns from a visit and it always creates a lot of strife, outside of the usual stress of getting into a pet carrier, car, brand new place and then all the way back again. With this in mind I asked if it would be possible to skip the vet visit. We've known about this anxious response in them, keep them indoors

I was really excited to bring my dog into the vaccine clinic after I had such a wonderful call with one one the employees. I previously took my dog to the vaccine clinic over off of Florin and found the Veterinarian and her assistant to be so helpful, and after my conversation on the phone I was hopeful I might have that same experience at this location and one that was closer to home. I had the first appointment and I showed up 10 minutes early as asked by the site. I made my way to the vaccine area where the employee fumbled to get me checked in. Then as I stood waiting for him to check my dog in the line behind me became 6 dogs deep, and the space crowded. I went to pick up my dog’s prescription supplement, they’re commonly out of stock so I came back later at the end of the week to see if it was now in stock. The lady at the desk was Naomi and I asked her if they had that particular prescription in stock and she responds with “we are not a pharmacy”- odd and rude response given that my dog has the prescription here. Then proceeds to scold me for picking up the prescription once my dog ran out of the prescription- meanwhile I’ve been trying this whole week to get it and it’s been out of stock and I was told to check in later this week for restocks when I first checked earlier this week.
