Petco

To start, this review has nothing to do with the employees themselves. Whenever I shop at this location the staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. My problem comes with Petco as a company! I shop at Petco occasionally for fish, and the setups they have are not adequate! It is not the employees choice on how the fish tanks are set up but I am always extremely disappointed in Petco for setting such a terrible standard. Do better Petco !

Love the crew they've got working here. They're all amazing, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me fit this little puppy with a harness that grows with him! We plan to go back regularly to share our pups stages and growth with them. Looking forward to his first grooming when he's bigger.

Here is my issue with Petco & PetSmart as someone who is a hermit crab and reptile advocate. Their setups are NEVER correct or even humanely acceptable, the info on the tanks is correct, the knowledge their employees have for each type of animal they sell is incorrect, the at home care sheets are incorrect. If they’re going to sell animals then they need to be knowledgeable in their care & provide that exact care in their store. They would not be selling any living animal until that is done. For instance your hermit crab setups are atrocious. Humidity is wrong, temps are wrong, substrate is wrong, your info on the tank is incorrect, your at home care sheet is also incorrect. Same with your bearded dragon enclosures. It’s really sad to see an establishment care so little in proper care for

Looked for mostly indestructible toy and cashier was on his own. But, he patiently waited on the two lovely ladies at register while explaining where dog toys of that sort were. He was very helpful and liked talking to him about our pets.

This store has improved over the last year. Staff are helpful & pleasant.
