We brought our corgi in for a nail trim, teeth brushing, and a trim, specifically a trim. The groomer was Liz. Instead, his body was cut extremely short. While he was not completely shaved, his double coat was taken down far more than requested or appropriate for his breed. Corgis have a double coat, and it is widely understood that shaving or cutting them this short can negatively impact coat health and texture. We were never advised of this, nor were we consulted before such a drastic cut was done. Had we been informed that this would be the result, we absolutely would not have agreed. While we appreciate that we were not charged for the service, that does not undo the damage done. It will take an estimated 4–6 weeks for his coat to grow back, and there is concern it may not return to

I go to the local Petco for our guinea pigs needs for the hay and grain that they are required to eat. I gave 4 stars seeing the hay at times while using the same brand and same kind isn’t consistently the same and at times it’s brownish and looks to be an older lot. I used to buy the Carnival one that was the Timothy hay but they no longer carry this to my disappointment and that was consistently the same . Also, I wish they carried more types of bedding such as the waterproof fleece bedding for guinea pigs as we have switched to using instead of the messy bedding that you have to consistently remove once it’s been wet from Guinea pigs going to bathroom . Also the staff are pleasant to me and my daughter as we visit a couple times a week . Thanks !

Rachel, a knowledgeable staff member in the reptile department, exhibited a genuine interest in the welfare of the animals being sold such as making sure we knew about lighting etc , asking relevant these questions and ensuring necessary supplies were on hand as well as making other helpful recommendations. The store is always clean when we come in and the animals and fish always look healthy and are well cared for .

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience deserves one. I brought my dog here for grooming with a 12:30pm appointment. Around 2:30pm, I received both a text and a phone call saying he was finished and ready for pickup. When I arrived, the groomer, Liz (or Elizabeth), told me she wasn’t able to cut his nails—which was fine—but then informed me that she also had NOT cut his hair. She then asked if I still wanted his haircut… obviously I said yes it was the entire reason for the appointment. She told me to come back at 4pm. I returned at 4pm, and my dog was still not finished. She had my dog for nearly four hours and had done almost nothing. I’m not even sure he was bathed. I genuinely don’t understand why I was contacted at 2:30pm saying he was ready when nothing had been comple

I just picked up my King Charles cavalier from getting bathed and brushed and I’m pretty disappointed. After getting her home I noticed that she had multiple knots in her ears and her tail looked really dry and was very snarly. I had to brush her out myself with a leave in conditioner which I shouldn’t have had to do after paying to have it done. Also, when I walked in for the appointment initially I was left waiting alone for 10 minutes and noticed that the grooming room was very dirty. There was mounds of hair everywhere and a water bowl for dogs in the corner that looked not clean. I also witnessed the groomer dragging a small white dog by the leash into the back, like why not just pick the dog up instead? Very put off from my experience here. We won’t be back.
