Petco

I wanted to share how great the team at this Petco location is. They've consistently taken excellent care of my reptile and dog's needs. What I appreciate most is that they're open later than most, which is super convenient since I work until 7-8 most nights . They're always friendly, patient, and really seem to understand my pets' specific needs. I highly recommend this team. Very well communicated and passionate about animals and what they do.

Bad manner people that are working there. We was trying to buy a goldfish and ask one of the worker to help. When he came to us, he ask us to show him our ID, which is kind of weird because we never experienced showing our ID before at any other pet store. We told him that we have a 10 gallon tank in our first response, but we also have a 20 gallon tank. He look at us like a judgemental person and then decided not giving us a fish just because our first response was a 10 gallon tank. He also giving us a bad attitude and just walk away from us while we still talking. So we decided go to a pet smart after and brought a better goldfish. However, this is a bad experience that I've at blaine petco. I think they should hired people that having a better manner and showing more respect to differen

not a karen by any means but pulled 3 dead rotting bettas (out of all the half dead ones) and stuck them on the workers counter because clearly no one cares. not to mention all the dead fish in tank. super sad and disappointing.

We brought our dog in on 8/15/25 for a Mini Makeover Plus, and the experience was awful. The moment the staff tried to pick him up, he was a little scared — but showed absolutely no aggression. Instead of showing patience or trying a different approach, they immediately refused service and told us to go somewhere that uses a muzzle. For a business that works with animals, the lack of understanding and basic handling skills was shocking. We felt unwelcome, dismissed, and judged. I would strongly advise against bringing your pet to the Blaine Petco.

Super friendly employees. The veterinarian was very great. Overall all about great first time experience. I'm sure we'll be back for future services.
