Thank you so much for giving Jameson back his life! Jameson wound up in a Dallas shelter through no fault of his own and most certainly would have been euthanized if my rescue group SHARPOFNY had not stepped up and saved him. He came in with a lamp left front leg and a limp. He looked sad. We got him to the vet and took xrays of his paw and then his shoulder. They showed nothing. We had no money for an mri so my amazing foster and I thought of the brace. The process was detailed, for good reason. We had amazing donors who donated the money for the brace. We received it and started him with it in September 2025. It took a bit for him to acclimate but it REALLY did wonders for him! Our Husky was diagnosed with a torn ACL on her hind leg. We found Animal Ortho Care through a Facebook community group and decided to give it a try. The casting kit came with great instructions, I recommend having two sets of hands, but was very easy to complete. The custom brace has been amazing for our pup. We've been using it daily, gradually increasing time and activities. Back in Oct '21 she would try walking from the backyard to the front door and have to stop and lay down. Now just 5 months later, she is up and playing again with our younger dog, she's excited about going for our short walks again. We looked around at websites for knee braces when our Lexie tore her knee and decided that Animal Ortho Care was the best choice for us. The staff was very quick to respond to questions and assure us that they would do everything needed to ensure the brace would be made to fit. I was unsure if our measurements were right and was told they would contact us after they received everything if they had any doubts before proceeding. Our brace came within a week of ordering and is excellent quality! We have had it for about 8 weeks now and it has been used in the water many times with no issues. The fit is perfect and Lexie doesn’t mind wearing it for her walks and swimming. Also, we don’t see any issues with chafing or sores, which is a relief. She always answers the phone when I call or returns a voicemail immediately. She acts as if your pet is the only pet she is working on - even refers to them by name. When our brace arrived, there were treats in the box so my dog, Thor, connected the treats with the brace and knew immediately that the brace was just for him.
