Pet Time

2/21/2026 The store is really starting to look nice. It's cleaner. They've got great prices on pros and food for fish. The carrying plants for the aquariums and also larger and stuff The employees that I have dealt with seem to be very educated about aquatics. Their prices are very reasonable. I was shocked how much cheaper they're frozen products were. I purchase these three tiny little bristle nose. They're growing like weeds It's amazing how fast. And being involved in rescue most of my adult life. I really enjoy going in and being able to pet their cats and see them content and sleeping in a beautiful cattery with able to watch all that's going on outside. If you need a cat don't always look for kittens. They have some beautiful ones in there. I'm not sure what rescue group they wo

A very nice local pet store. The staff have always been incredibly friendly and helpful with any of my needs and questions. They seem very knowledgeable about their products and willing to offer suggestions and discuss options. Their animal availability varies a little seasonally, like having fewer tarantula offerings during winter because of shipping dangers etc. of course they want to sell pets, but I’ve never felt pressured to buy an animal from any of their staff.

Started going there maybe 6 months ago regularly. They’re great for pinkies and crickets and all that, but as for our ferrets. They are out of litter/food more often than they have it. Today I went in and for the 3rd time in a row (we keep having to go to petco when they’re out) they were out again… unfortunately If you have small animals I would recommend you save time and head elsewhere.

I have never smelled anything in or right outside of the store, so I don't know what the other commenter is smelling. The staff has been nothing but gracious & helpful when I've gone in there every 1-2 months for years. They have been great hosts for the bird trim clinics I've brought my parrot to for years. Roni & Will have been clipping my parrot's nails (& sometimes his beak) for over 20 years. My husband & I even got a beautiful CAG baby from them as well. The parrot that they've been clipping for me is now 27 years old, & I started going to them when he was 4 or 5. Pet Time still hosts their trim clinics at both the Eugene & Springfield stores to this day. Very fair pricing on any of their items. They have a good selection for all regular animals.

I go here all the time. I have been going here since they opened. I get my feeder frozen rats here and their red runner roaches for my tarantulas. Occasionally I buy tarantulas here. I have never had a bad experience and I am really glad that we have pet time and hometown pets as an option for pet stuff around here. They have a way better selection of tarantulas than petco or petsmart. The people who work here are helpful.
