We adopted two kittens in March of 2025. Highly recommend considering to adopt from here first! They are fully committed to the interest of their kittens and whom they go to. Which is very important all around. Pricing is reasonable and sometimes there are discounts made available by donations, especially when multiples need to stay with their bonded pair/triplets. The team is super easy going and helpful on decision day too. If you can't adopt consider making a donation!

We had a great experience at Pet Tails, they were professional, warm, and we got a great chance to get to know the kittens before adopting a bonded pair. We appreciate that they are working with out of state shelters to find homes for cats who might not otherwise.

I cannot say enough good things about this fabulous animal shelter. I have never met someone with a bigger heart than Maureen has. This shelter does excellent vetting, provides top notch medical care and quickly adopts out all of their cats and kittens 365 days a year. They have an amazing foster care system that helps all their kittens and cats have great experiences while waiting for their forever families. And there is a great Facebook community where owners of PTR animals post updates on their animals for life. I will hopefully adopt my cats here and only here from now on out. They gave me my soulmate Belle 🤍

We bought (2) brother kittens American short hair and they are amazing. She received them from Virginia where they were slatted for euthanasia. Amazing addition to the family. Highly recommend PTR as she loves what she does! Papers, shots and spade included. Look at the guys!♥️
