The entire staff at Northwood Vet is absolutely amazing! My husband and I recently adopted an old 90lb pitbull mix who needed rectal surgery. They worked with us every step of the way to ensure our girl got the care she desperately needed, worked with us on surgery expenses to help save us money, and have been so responsive to our many questions and follow-ups. We are incredibly thankful for their patience, empathy, and expertise. Even though our girl is super anxious by vet visits, they really worked with us to make her as comfortable as possible. We recommend them to anyone - they are also recommended by our local at home vet.

We recently had to make the incredibly difficult decision to put our beloved German Shepherd down, and the staff at Northwood showed us such compassion during that heartbreaking time. The veterinary nurse and veterinarian were both calm, patient, and took the time to explain everything while allowing us to move through the process at our own pace. The nurse who assisted us was truly amazing and showed so much kindness and understanding - it’s clear she is in the right field. The veterinarian also reassured us that we were making the most selfless decision for our pup, which meant a lot. When we later picked up his cremains, a nurse shared that another staff member had said he was the most beautiful German Shepherd she had ever seen. Northwood Veterinary Hospital is by far the best practice I have ever been to! The staff and doctors are as sweet as can be! They listen and care about what your pets needs are. They take your opinions into consideration. They will find the best solution for your pet that will please both parties! I just recently had my cat, Shadow, in for a Cystotomy and PU procedure due to continuous urethral blocking. Everyone here cares, not just for the pet, but for the owners as well. They understand that cost can be a huge issue with surgeries, so they worked with us on a pricing! The doctors did everything in their power to make sure Shadow was comfortable throughout his surgery and hospital stay. They thoroughly explained the surgery process to me and made sure I had no concerns. They were amazing

I travel 2 hours away from Boston to Northwood N.H. Dr Davis and his entire team are hands down the best place to bring your furry friends. Incredible customer service, Top notch human beings caring for our pets. Thank you all for everything you do.

I have only had 2 appointments here so far with my Doberman puppy, and have nothing but compliments. The staff is always friendly, helpful and attentive. This is my first experience with a vet and I couldn't be happier. Strongly recommend!
