Pet Supplies Plus North Port

We just had our newly adopted pup, Mateo groomed at Pet Supplies Plus! Colton did an awesome job! We thought that Mateo would be a little skittish but Colton was very calming and gentle! He has never been groomed before and he's at least 2 years old! Awesome job and thanks for being so nice to Mateo! Highly recommend this groomer! Everyone in the store is so friendly and helpful, it's a great place! It even has self service dog baths, you can go in and give your dog a bath! Awesome!

I moved to the area about two years ago and always thought this shop was just for dogs. Surprisingly, they carry supplies for all kinds of pets! They have a solid reptile section with live reptiles, bird supplies, and even a freshwater fish section. The live fish they sell all look healthy, and the tanks are spotless. Definitely a great spot in Northport for pet supplies. If you don’t have the space (or just don’t want) to bathe your dog at home, they even have a bathing section in the back of the store. The only downside for me is that they don’t carry marine fish supplies—but overall, still a 5-star store!

Everyone is very friendly and willing to help you. What a great feeling. The store is always cleaned organized and well stocked. The owners are amazing, very friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. The groomers are also very friendly and welcoming and my dog absolutely loves them.

First time coming to this pet supply store and it will absolutely be my last. I was shocked to see expired cat food being marked up higher than the regular price at other stores, then labeled as “50% off” as if it were some great deal — when in reality, you’re still paying the normal price for expired food. That feels extremely dishonest. On top of that, the owner or manager at the register (the one with curly hair) was very rude and unwelcoming. The interaction gave off a nasty, uncomfortable vibe and made me feel like my business wasn’t valued at all. Customer service matters, especially when you’re dealing with people buying food and supplies for their pets. Between the misleading pricing practices and the poor attitude, this store completely missed the mark. I will not be returning
