Pet Supplies Plus Brockton

I visited Pet Supplies Plus in Brockton yesterday and was appalled at how the live animals were being kept. The reptile's and frog's water dishes were either empty or only contained a tiny amount of dirty water. This was in the afternoon so the store had been open for hours. Giving clean water to the living animals should be the first thing employees do when they come in. All of the reptile's and frog tanks looked very dirty also. The ball python's tank was the worst. The water dish was almost empty and had a strange white film across the top. The humidity was dangerously low, 30% according to the hygrometer. Ball pythons need at least 60-80% humidity or else they're susceptible to health problems. The employees should be using Reptisoil or Ecoearth as a substrate to help hold humidity an

I have had multiple issues with this location ordering online. I have placed orders only to have items canceled due to not bring available, even though I was able to order online and pay for items. What good is an inventory system if it doesn't work. I would have rather canceled my entire order and go to another store who can fill my order. Today I placed order of 14 cans of cat food and 3 little bags of treats. I showed up about an hour later only to be told there were many items that needed to be pulled and I should return later. I was told it would be at least another hour and I would receive a text when order was ready for pickup. If I hadnt already paid for the order, I would have just canceled it. Unprofessional management: I went in to use the self service dog wash as I usually do. The cashier was very pleasant, however manager was rude and argumentative. I paid for the wash, was told only one station was working I waited around 15-20 minutes before another customer came in to use the wash. The manager offered to let them use the dysfunctional station that only had cold water and because they accepted that and the first customer happened to be done, I was told they were going to use the functional one first. When I expressed my concern, the manager chose to be argumentative so i decided to get a refund and leave. Normally don't have a problem here. I get my dog supplies, I pay and I leave. The app was having an issue today when I tried to use rewards at checkout. Vivica (team member) wouldn't input the code and ran off as soon as she handed me the receipt like she had more important things to do than help a customer.
