After working with Ray we have a calmer pup that we can take everywhere and greet people/dogs politely. This allowed us to give him a better quality of life and take him to experience a lot of adventure with us, instead of having to leave him at home. We been working with Ray for a couple months now. We started off with 1 hour sessions and when we went away we decided to leave Diesel for 1 week puppy board and train. As a paranoid Dog mom, I would never just leave my pup with anyone and I can tell you from our interactions and visits Ray is someone you can trust to give your pup the BEST care any trainer can give, we fully trusted Ray and felt comfortable the entire vacation that our puppy was not only safe but learning and becoming a better pup. Ray truly understands dogs behavior and the

We worked with Follow My Lead for private lessons to help our Lab, Bruce, with a range of issues including leash obedience, resource guarding, advanced commands, jumping, off-leash training, and general behavioral challenges. We can’t recommend Ray highly enough! From the start, Ray was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping dogs and their owners. He took the time to assess Bruce’s specific needs and tailored each session to address his different challenges, and how to instill the behavior at home. He taught us how to build trust and communication with our dog, helping us understand his triggers and how to manage them effectively. Ray was also incredibly supportive, always available for questions and follow-ups, ensuring we could maintain the training at hom

I found Ray and Follow My Lead after shopping around and trying a few different trainers. My 18-month-old rescue Cane Corso, Biggie, was reactive, unpredictable with strangers, and overly excited at the sight of other dogs. I didn’t fully trust him on walks—and at 120 pounds and still growing, I knew it was time to bring in a professional. After an initial session with Ray, we decided to enroll Biggie in a six-week board and train behavior modification program. I visited weekly for check-ins and was able to see the progress firsthand. Ray didn’t just train Biggie—he took the time to teach me what to look for and how to become the best advocate for my dog. When I got Biggie back, the change was night and day. He came home more confident, better socialized, no longer pulls on the leash, an

Our experience Ray has been amazing. As first time dog owners and expecting wife Ray helped tremendously. We started with individual lessons for our 6 month old golden retriever puppy Cider. After that we did the 2 week boarding program. He taught us so much and we had so much improvement with her jumping, leash pulling, recall and more. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants more out of their dog. We love our dog more now

We signed up for the 2 week board and train for my reactive French Bulldog when she was just about 1 year old. We were beyond impressed with all the progress she made and loved learning the new training techniques. We kept up with her training for the last 2 years and now we have a new puppy who is deaf and plan to sign to him for the same board and train so he learns recall with an r collar for safety due to his hearing trouble.
