The staff here are amazing and great at communicating any concerns to make sure my dog was comfy. Caleb gave me videos about my dogs training progress and provided me hands on experience to help me be successful in reinforcing what she learned.

Mike Osteen is a fantastic trainer of both dogs and people! He truly understands dog behavior at a level deeper than I have seen before and more importantly he can communicate and educate clients about behaviors and how to respond and move forward as well. Mike has extensive background knowledge and experience doing everything from military k9, behavior modification, advanced gundogs, and household/pet obedience. For anyone looking for basic training to advanced retriever training I cannot recommend Mike highly enough. We were down at the farm in October with all of our Labrador retrievers. Mike was a fabulous trainer. He worked so well with people, gave me the confidence I needed and was lacking to continue doing well with my dogs. Our dogs loved him and the way that he set up the training. My dog, Henry. a field golden retriever ended up at Mike Osteen's because he was very afraid of a crippled bird. So much to the point he decided he didn't want to pick up any birds. I tried to get help from various people but Henry got worse and worse. He had learned it was okay to take charge and do what he wanted to do. I realized I needed just the right trainer to get him past this problem. Thank God, I found Mike. The first thing Mike did was take Henry back to the basics and worked on obedience.
