Customer Reviews
A very nice dog showed up at our garage so we kept her in the house as it was already dark. We brought her to the shelter to have her checked for a chip which they did right away and soonwe got a call from the happy owner. Thank you to the folks at the Loudon Animal Shelter!
I unfortunately had to rehome a full blooded boxer. Before everyone comes at me. It wasn't my dog to begin with. I was just supposed to be a SHORT term foster. I'm going through some medical issues and can't keep him any longer. But thats besides the point....I called them yesterday for help and I was told I could bring him but they are just gonna put him to sleep!!! They lady on the phone was so so rude and hateful. Any way I found a boxer rescue to come get him. I just wanted to tell everyone that just drops off their dogs or strays they are just gonna kill them!!!
I found my Hooman… she came to visit me every day for a week to make sure we like each other. She real good mom … she take me to park, doggy daycare, make my food, gets my jerky treats and buyed me toys! I live playing at park wif all my new friends. I so glad I smiled for her… she really happy because she know I have training and am housebroken. It one month and I adjusted fast.
Employee are friendly and very passionate about the animals in their care. Working that kind of environment must be difficult. Owners not be responsible for their own pets and other kind hearted loving individuals have to step up to the plate. Animal shelters are giving a bad rap which is like every job. But if you really think about it. These employees at every shelter truly do love and care for the pets.
My male dog, Stewie, went totally rogue on me early Saturday am (1 am?)...I searched the neighbor's searched for 2 days!! No, Stewie. The first thing I did Saturday morning was call the animal shelter to discover they're closed on weekends. I'd have to wait. Sick with worry by Monday am, I called to just make sure....THEY HAD HIM!! Some kind stranger saw him on the main road, no collar (because he escaped by forcing it over his head) and they gave him a ride to shelter and put him in night drop off to keep him safe. The ladies behind counter both on the phone and in person were EXCEPTIONAL! Sent me a picture before I came to see if it was really him... I arrived within minutes to bring my KING back to our pack and in person those same ladies showed great professionalism, kindness to
